A view of the South End of Coogee Beach in the late 1800’s. Some fun facts..There was no daytime bathing allowed. Bathing was strictly segregated. The ban was lifted when there was a drought in the early 1900s to save water.
This piece was inspired by the black and white images from the State Library of NSW.
