Coogee Aquarium - Original Artwork

Coogee Aquarium in the late 1890’s and the vast landscape of Coogee inspired by images from the State Library of NSW. 

Interesting facts: Opened in 1887 and was a major Sydney entertainment venue and is now home of the Coogee Pavillion. 

The venue included a 25 x 10m indoor pool, a great hall for roller skating, a 70m toboggan run and donkey rides.
