A very special and historic place. Yarra Bay Beach in Phillip Bay. 

The original owners of the land were the Kameygal people.  This area of Sydney is one with which the Aboriginal people have had an unbroken connection to for over 7,500 years. 

I would like to acknowledge that we are on the land of the Gadigal and Bidjigal peoples who traditionally occupied the Sydney coast.  I acknowledge Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people today and I pay my respects to Elders past and present' .
